Gakuen Alice is a story about a girl who faces the world with her enthusiam and optimism.

Mikan Sakura is a girl who grew up in a small town where she studies in Satsuki Elementary School with her best friend Imai Hotaru. (Theirs is a friendship that is a bit complex)

One day, Hotaru abruptly leaves town to transfer to a new school.

*

When Mikan decides to follow her, she ends up enrolling into the elite Alice Academy, an elite academy for children with special magical abilities known as alices, too!

What follows will a series of mishaps, new enemies, new friends and Natsume Hyuuga!
